GAA v Culmullen

The football team traveled to Culmullen school yesterday for a match. Conditions were tough with strong winds and heavy rainfall. There were some great passages of play and St. Patrick's battled hard until the end. We were unlucky in front of goals, but it was a great chance to work on shooting under pressure and will stand to us next Thursday when we take on Rathfeigh at home.

Player of the match for the girls was Meghan Lennon, who showed great leadership on the pitch, never gave up or let the head drop and worked hard no matter what position she was in.

For the boys, the player of the match was Ben Watson. Ben scored an unbelievable goal towards the end of the game. He was calling for the ball, supporting his teammates and running into great positions!

Well done to all of the players! Training Tuesday 2-3pm and match on Thursday at 1.30pm.

DON'T FORGET GUM SHIELDS!
