Easter activities:
- Maths/Science: Baking is a great way of practicing reading and maths skills there are lots of lovely Easter recipes on Twinkl or here: https://www.bbcgoodfood. com/recipes/collection/easter- kids
- Art: There are lots of lovely Easter art and craft projects to complete- some ideas and instructions can be found here: https://www. countryliving.com/diy-crafts/ how-to/g1111/easter-crafts/? slide=27 some particularly nice activities include sock bunnies, salt dough Easter egg decorations, pompom chicks and a paper plate egg wreath. Other suggestions: design an Easter egg, make an Easter card, or paint some eggs (some inspiration here).
- Science and STEM: lovely Easter themed STEM challenge cards can be found on Twinkl. There is also some great egg-speriments :) - search Easter experiments or Easter STEM to find them!
- Geography/Science: Go on a nature walk. Have your child create a map (with a key) of your walking trail and mark interesting things they saw along the walk. Bring a checklist of leaves/insects/animals that you are going to look for on your walk, or collect or photograph interesting leaves and plants and research them when you get home.
- PE: Have an Easter egg hunt. Have an egg and spoon race. practice egg rolls (need a thick mat/mattress)!
