Science Week

Juniors and Seniors explored materials and change by making playdough on Friday! The best learning happens when there's a mess ๐Ÿ™ˆ๐Ÿ™ˆ๐Ÿ™ˆ

The senior room were set a new challenge each morning during Science Week. On Monday, using string, newspaper, sellotape & Blu Tack they had to design a parachute. We tested them from the stage in the hall on Tuesday & the parachute to touch ground last was the winner! 

On Tuesday, the children were set a task of designing a catapult using lollipop sticks & elastic bands to see which group could design the most powerful one! 

On Wednesday, we had a Lego Challenge to build a bridge. The children were really engaged in this activity & all groups made some impressive designs.

On Friday, using plasticine the children began making designs based on their SESE projects. More photos to follow...
