Active School Week-Wednesday

Today was another jam-packed day!

Juniors and Seniors learnt a little bit about hurling and camogie, and the equipment needed!

We had Ciarán from Trim GAA Club who did football with all of the classes. Trim have very good underage systems in place for football, ladies football, hurling and camogie and you can see more on their website. There will also be summer camps over the summer in Trim GAA grounds.

We also had Nat from Mini Me Yoga who did yoga with the children in the hall.

Seán, Eoin and David Conway from Trim Celtic came in and were absolutely brilliant with the different class levels! Everyone learned loads and did great drills and games with the lads. Their website has lots of information about the club and there are summer camps coming up in this sport too!

Finally Chalky and other members of Meath River Rescue were in to talk to the children about what they do, their equipment and water safety. This was a very interesting and very important visit and we hope that everyone remembers how to be safe near water.
