Today we kicked off our Active School Week! All week there will be different people coming to teach the children new skills and about different sports. We hope this will encourage everyone to be more active and maybe begin new activities after school too!
To begin, we had Hugh and Stephen from The Badgers hockey club in Navan. They were brilliant at teaching us hockey skills.
Edel came back for a visit to the school and did some Zumba with everyone.
Ms. Keane's sister, Emer, and Terry from Dunshaughlin Basketball taught us some new skills and played basketball games with each of the classrooms.
Jane from Aura Trim was in doing some activities in the sunshine!
Sinéad Ryan, an Olympic Weightlifter and former Irish Rugby player, showed us her muscles and challenged everyone with some of her training exercises!!!
