We can't believe this is the last day of our Active School Week!!!

Today we had Jenny Rispin from Meath GAA in coaching each of the classrooms. Trim GAA is located beside Aura Leisure Centre and has fantastic facilities. There will be Cúl Camps running there over the summer, and these are a great way to start playing football or hurling for boys and girls! Mr. Larke's room finished their badminton league today! Well done to the semi-finalists; Holly and Elliott, Mark and Dominik, Ben and Benjamin, Isabella and Lionel.
And a big congratulations to the winners, Isabella and Lionel!!!
We also had our pentathlon competitions today. Well done to everyone who took part, and especially to Adam Ryan and the Active School Committee who came up with the idea and events in it! Here are the winning groups from each classroom:

Grace Ibs, who is Ms. Ibs' mother, works with the Red Cross, and brought the ambulance into the school today. The children got a chance to look around the ambulance and then Grace spoke to each classroom about first aid and showed the children CPR.
We've had a great week and hopefully everyone continues to stay active even though it's over!
