The children in the middle room made and gifted some beautiful homemade gifts to their Secret Santas.  From sewing, to art, to crafting and more, the children outdid themselves with these beautiful personalised gifts 💗🎁 Well done one and all x

Senior Room dramas

The children in the senior room created, and today performed, some Christmas themed plays. They are so enthusiastic, funny, creative and talented. Well done children 💗

PA Annual Christmas Party 🥳

A massive thank you to Nolene, Stephen, Vicky, Liz and to all of our wonderful Parents Association for putting on an amazing Christmas Party for the children. They loved the yummy pizza, all of the music and dancing and playing games with their friends 😍  The raffle had fantastic prizes and was a big hit with the children. 

We really appreciate the huge effort the PA put into this each year, so our heartfelt thanks to all 💗🎄🎅🎁

Celebrating 20 years of Antonia's Bookshop in Trim

 A huge well done to Josephine, Aiya, Ada and Zoe who were kindly invited to speak on LMFM today as they celebrated 20 years of Antonia's Bookshop.  The children spoke live with Gerry Kelly of LMFMs Late Lunch about their favourite books and how much they love reading and visiting Antonia's shop 📚

Armagh Observatory and Planetarium Dome Visit

The middle & senior rooms enjoyed a memorable trip to Trim Library today to visit a portable planetarium dome that was provided by the Armagh Observatory & Planetarium. We really enjoyed exploring the night sky & our solar system in such a fun & exciting way!

This was followed by a talk about meteorites & rocks given to us by a geologist whose name was Rok!

Annual Book Fair

The Parents Association kindly ran our Annual Book Fair.  Many thanks for your generous support . €540 was made in book sales meaning our school library will receive €216 worth of new titles! Thank you 🤩📚

Well done to Nathan, Cara & Emilia who got lucky in the PA raffle!

Some great costumes on show today...the teachers had a tough job deciding on the 'best costume' prize for each classroom! Well done to Daniel, William & Eve!

The Saint Patrick's N.S pumpkin (thank you Pauline!) came in at a whopping 4.9kg...! Some terrific guesses with four children guessing 5kg! The four names were placed into a hat & Emilia got lucky again!

Huge thanks to our brilliant PA for organising all those fun activities!

Author Visit to Trim Library

 1st, 2nd and 3rd classes visited Trim Library today to meet author Erika McGann.  Erika shared with us some of her own childhood adventures that helped shape her journey to becoming an author. She read some of her magical stories with us and the children did some activities based on her stories.  We had a really enjoyable and inspiring morning with Erika 📖💕

Boardgame Buddies

The Student Council ran a special event for Halloween week.  We had great fun playing boardgames with our buddies and we were all very lucky to get a delicious homemade cookie at the end 🤤🤤🍪 Well done to all 💕

The Student Council set up our new goals

 A huge thank you to Ms.Maguire and our amazing Student Council for all of their fundraising efforts.  Our new goals are fantastic and all of the children will enjoy using them for many years to come 💗 Thanks our school community for making this possible by sending in the Re-turn bottles.

A special safety visit from An Garda

 We were delighted to have a member of An Gardaí visit with us today to teach us all about being careful and safe especially at Halloween.  The children had lots of interesting questions and they learned a lot from this visit. 

BFG Event in Trim Library

 The children from middle room were very lucky to meet the real BFG in Trim Library this  week!  The BFG told us all about his life as a giant. He also invited one of our students up to read from his book! The BFG made a special dream potion with us - the boys and girls had lots of great ideas to add to the potion to help make for some very interesting dreams 💭🐉🦄💎  He then shared the dream potion with another of our students who shared it with everyone 🥰
