Well done to Nathan, Cara & Emilia who got lucky in the PA raffle!

Some great costumes on show today...the teachers had a tough job deciding on the 'best costume' prize for each classroom! Well done to Daniel, William & Eve!

The Saint Patrick's N.S pumpkin (thank you Pauline!) came in at a whopping 4.9kg...! Some terrific guesses with four children guessing 5kg! The four names were placed into a hat & Emilia got lucky again!

Huge thanks to our brilliant PA for organising all those fun activities!

Author Visit to Trim Library

 1st, 2nd and 3rd classes visited Trim Library today to meet author Erika McGann.  Erika shared with us some of her own childhood adventures that helped shape her journey to becoming an author. She read some of her magical stories with us and the children did some activities based on her stories.  We had a really enjoyable and inspiring morning with Erika 📖💕

Boardgame Buddies

The Student Council ran a special event for Halloween week.  We had great fun playing boardgames with our buddies and we were all very lucky to get a delicious homemade cookie at the end 🤤🤤🍪 Well done to all 💕

The Student Council set up our new goals

 A huge thank you to Ms.Maguire and our amazing Student Council for all of their fundraising efforts.  Our new goals are fantastic and all of the children will enjoy using them for many years to come 💗 Thanks our school community for making this possible by sending in the Re-turn bottles.

A special safety visit from An Garda

 We were delighted to have a member of An Gardaí visit with us today to teach us all about being careful and safe especially at Halloween.  The children had lots of interesting questions and they learned a lot from this visit. 

BFG Event in Trim Library

 The children from middle room were very lucky to meet the real BFG in Trim Library this  week!  The BFG told us all about his life as a giant. He also invited one of our students up to read from his book! The BFG made a special dream potion with us - the boys and girls had lots of great ideas to add to the potion to help make for some very interesting dreams 💭🐉🦄💎  He then shared the dream potion with another of our students who shared it with everyone 🥰

Trip to the Swift Theatre

 The whole school was very lucky today to visit the Swift Theatre to watch a fantastic production of The Little Prince.  Thanks so much to our amazing Parents Association for covering the cost of our tickets 🎟 🩷

Teddy Bears Picnic

We had such fun today at the Student Council's wonderful Teddy Bears Picnic. Thank you to the Student Council for all of their delicious bakes and all of their hard work today. 

Thank you so much for your support - we raised an amazing €65 which will provide a much needed school desk for Matandani Primary School in Malawi where Ms. Maguire is volunteering this summer.  We wish Ms. Maguire all the very best with it 🩷

Active Week

What a fantastic week we had during Active Week. The children all had a super time trying out new sports and activities 🏌‍♂️🏃🏈🎾⛳️⚽️💃🕺🧘‍♀️🧘‍♂️

Our heartfelt thanks to all who generously gave up their time to share their expertise with the children. Thanks so much to Stephen for Rugby, Grainne from GK Stage Academy for dance,  Ms.Kilrane for Yoga, Rob for Soccer and Brendan and Anna for Karate.  A huge thank you also to Trim Tennis Club and Trim Pitch and Putt for kindly allowing us to use their lovely facilities. 

Our thanks aswell to Schools Fitness Ireland for doing such a great job with the children.

Thank you to the PA and the Student Council for the BBQ and refreshments.

And finally a big thank you to Ms. Maguire for all of the organising 🩷

We hope the children all have a well deserved rest this weekend after such a fun, activity filled week 😍

First Visit to Re-turn bank!

 We did our first Re-turn deposit at the bank outside Supervalu. The Student Council are delighted with how the fundraising is going so far. Please keep the Re-turn bottles and cans coming in 🙏 Thank you 

Visit to Trim Fire Station

The children were very lucky and got to visit Trim Fire Station this week.  Thanks so much to the Fire Officers who were amazing with the children and gave us a really fantastic tour ❤️
