Book Fair 2024

Huge thanks to our P.A for running another successful Book Fair. We added €220 worth of books to our library based on all the books sold this week. Thank you!

Presentation to Dean Bogle on his retirement

  We bid a fond farewell to Dean Bogle on Friday and presented him with a lovely framed piece of art made by Ms. Maguire which included the thumbprints of all of the children in the school.  We thank Dean Bogle for all of his hard work, kindness and sincerity and wish him all the very best on his retirement. We will miss you Paul.

Senior Room trip to Navan Racecourse

Huge thanks to Navan Racecourse for such a fun-filled & informative day out at the races today! 

It was great to see first hand what goes into race day & to experience a day in the life of a jockey, trainer & equine vet.

Kindness awards for September

 Well done to Ellie Louise, Aiya & Eve for being particularly kind to others this month in school.

Congratulations to Eve in 5th class on winning 1st prize in the cake decorating competition at the Trim Show last Sunday! We can confirm that Eve's cake tasted as good as it looked!

6th class presentation

6th class were presented their Graduation Certificates in school this morning.  They are wonderful children and we know that they will do brilliantly in their next big adventure, we will really miss them ❤️❤️❤️❤️ 

Trim Visitors Centre

The senior room had a fantastic visit to Trim Visitors Centre.  They were given an interesting and informative talk and Q&A on medieval armoury and they even got to hold the weapons and try some of the armour

Active Week

 What a fantastic week we had - the rain even held off for most of it🥳 Huge thanks to Pauline for coming to us for dancing, Stephen for rugby, Deirdre for yoga and Rob for soccer and Schools Fitness Ireland for gymnastics and karate. Huge thank you to Trim Pitch and Putt and Trim Tennis Club for kindly accommodating us again🙏 Thanks also to the Parents Association for their generous contribution to the week and to Brendan and Anna for kindly sponsoring the medals 🏅

Well done to Aiya in 2nd class on winning an Irish writing competition. Many thanks to Trim GAA for organising the competition in the town, with a winner selected from each local school.

Senior Room First Aid Training

The senior room received First Aid training recently from Cohort Recruitment & Training funded by the Stephen Leonard Memorial Cycle committee. Many thanks to all involved for such a worthwhile initiative.

Bake Sale

Spring Planting in the Polytunnel with our Parent Association

Huge thanks to Pauline & Nolene for preparing our polytunnel for the new season. The children really enjoyed planting a whole range of vegetables & flowers this week!

Meath Biodiversity Detectives Workshop

Thanks so much to Lynsey for spending the day with the middle & senior rooms recently. It was such a worthwhile workshop, we all learned so much about the importance of biodiversity to our planet. 

Going on a bug hunt was great fun too!

A huge thank you to Trim Credit Union!

Many thanks to Trim Credit Union for their generous donation of €250 to our Parent Association. The funds will be used to upgrade our school library.

Friendship Week

 A huge thank you to Ms. Maguire for all of the fantastic Friendship Week activities. We painted a buddy bench, had whole school PE lead by the senior room, made friendship bracelets, played co-operative games, made acrostic poems, created friendship handshakes and more! Lots of fun had by all 😁

Meath Enterprise Workshop

Many thanks to Lina from Meath Enterprise for visiting the senior room recently. The workshop has hopefully inspired some future entrepreneurs!
