Christmas Party

Our annual school Christmas party is on Thursday, 21 December 2023 from 1pm to 3pm.


A kind reminder: a voluntary contribution of €5 per child or €10 per family will help cover event costs.

Activities include lunch for the kids, party games, individual gifts, a festive disco, and our annual raffle!

Parents and grandparents are warmly invited to join us! Your assistance would be much appreciated. Interested helpers can contact the Parents Association via

Raffle tickets are just €1 each or grab a bargain with eight tickets for €5!

Purchase your tickets in advance at the school or on the day of the Christmas Party.

We’re also accepting prize donations, big or small, which would be much appreciated!

The senior room enjoyed a terrific tour of Martry Mill recently, Ireland's oldest working mill. 

Some lovely brown bread was baked with the freshly ground flour!

The senior room had a great day out on their annual school tour. This year we visited the Aqua Zone in Blanchardstown followed by a trip to the Astro Park in Tallaght!

We had Rob from Trim Celtic in today for soccer, Maths Trails, Active Week posters, acrostic poems and our annual sports day! Thank you so much to all of the coaches, teachers, clubs, staff and parents who helped us so much during this week!!

Today was another busy day for our Active School Week! Pauline came in for dancing and then the whole school went to the tennis courts! The older pupils have a soccer tournament too.

Active School Week

 Active Week is next week! 

The children will need to bring in €10 for the week of activities. 

If anyone has tennis rackets and golf clubs the children can use, please bring them in with names on them. The children will also need to wear sun cream every day, and bring extra water. The children can wear the school tracksuits/shorts all week. 

Reminder that Sports Day is on Friday. 

We are extremely grateful to the coaches who are giving up their time to come to our school for Active Week!!! 

 


Flying kites in Trim (a Jigsaw & Lidl initiative)

Many thanks to Brenda from Jigsaw for such a fun morning last Tuesday. It was great to meet up with the other schools in the town. The children had a brilliant morning making, decorating & flying kites! 

A terrific initiative for promoting positive mental health in our young children.

Bishop's Medal Project work with Ms. Kilrane & Bernie

Such great art work was carried out in the school this week in preparation for the Bishop's Medal Project!

The theme of the project is 'Brigid 1500' & Ms. Kilrane & Bernie were hard at work with the children from the middle & senior rooms as they made a replica of Saint Brigid's Cathedral  & Saint Brigid's cloak!
