Dr. Brody's Braveheart Community First Responders Trim

Please see message & links below from our local community first responders group.

Our school shares an AED with the Diocesan Hall.

Do you know where your nearest AED is?

Dr. Brody's Braveheart Community First Responders are a volunteer group serving the Trim community. Working under the National Ambulance Service, we attend 999/112 cardiac and respiratory arrest emergency calls. As we are all based in Trim and surrounding areas, we quite often arrive on scene before an ambulance to begin potentially life-saving CPR. We currently have 10 volunteers and would like to raise funds to kit out each volunteer with a mobile AED, saving valuable time when attending a call. It costs €1500 to kit out one volunteer.
We have set up an iDonate page and any donation, however big or small, would be appreciated.
And check out our Facebook page to find out more information about the CFR group.

GAA Easter Activities

Message from Trim GAA:

Join Meath Coaching and Games for our GAA 'Easter Expo' - a schedule of coaching sessions for all ages. Week 1: 30th March – 1st April Week 2: 6th April – 8th April.

The content will be available on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday each week over the Easter holidays. We will kick off activities with a one off, fun filled live coaching session on 'Microsoft Teams' ... but everyone in the family is welcome to join in.

Follow the link for signing up - https://bit.ly/3d0eZp0

Each morning all Go Games players (age 5 – 11) can access a special coaching video from our Games Promotion Officers with a specific football and hurling skill as well as developing movement skills which they can take to practicing in their own space. Each afternoon there will be a live athletic development workshop for 13 – 17 year olds where players can get individual instruction and feedback from our highly qualified and experienced coaches over 'Microsoft Teams'. This, along with ‘Wall Ball’ activities to develop skills, should give Youth Players the best chance to be “Ready to Play” when we get back to the pitches.

Follow the link for signing up - https://bit.ly/2Pkdee9 The content will be available through all major social media platforms but registration is required for our live sessions and must be done through parents/guardians email addresses. More information on each event will follow throughout this week on social media.

World Book Day - Antonia's Bookstore

 From Antonia...

To celebrate World Book Day every year we love welcoming the pupils of St. Patrick's to our shop where they can spend their vouchers and either get one of the free World Book Day books or get money off a full priced book. As visiting the shop is not possible this year we have had to move online. We are having a zoom session with each class to have a chat about some of the latest books and read an extract from a book.

If you'd like to spend your voucher, you can either save it and visit the shop when we are allowed to reopen (we will honour vouchers for one month after we reopen) or you can visit our website www.antoniasbookstore.com. To get a free WBD book, just choose the one you want (if you search for World Book Day 2021 on our website, you will see the full list) and enter coupon code WBD21 at the checkout page and for delivery address please put the school name. If you would like to buy something else we have an exclusive discount of 10% for pupils of St Patrick's so in the coupon box at the checkout just type stpatricks and it will take 10% off your order.  You can choose to have these delivered to the school or your home (we do free delivery within 5km if you're spending a minimum of €5 or we can post beyond that for just €2.95.
