St. Patrick's V Moylagh

The football team faced their toughest opponents to date...Moylagh! They were in the division above us last year and got to the semi-final, and they all were experienced 6th footballers who play with their club too. However, not once did our team give up! The work rate was huge and it was a great opportunity to put skills into practice. Tough games like today are better than any training session, and playing against stronger teams give us the chance to learn and to improve! Well done to all of the players.

Player of the match today is Patrycja. She had a lot of work to do when she was in goals, and made some super saves. When she came outfield she got stuck in from the start and was involved in a lot of play bringing the ball up the field. Super work!

GAA Match

Don't forget gear tomorrow if you're on the GAA team...especially GUM SHIELDS!!!

Kick off is at 1pm in Trim GAA, and we will be back before home time.

St. Patrick's V Dunsany

The game today had to be relocated last minute to our school grounds as the Trim GAA pitches were shut! Luckily, the last minute change of venue didn't distract our team from the job at hand, and a super display was put up against Dunsany! The improvement in skills from the beginning of training was unbelievable! From Ella's kickouts to Adam's tackling to Beth's runs for the ball, it was a superb performance by all!

It was too hard to choose just one player of the match, so today there are two...Elizabeth for her hat trick of scores and Sam for his goalkeeping skills and outfield play!

Training on Thursday 3-4pm.
