It is about the adventures of a boy named Jack and his dad. When Jack’s dad gets taken by giants, Jack has to go on an adventure to save him…
In rough seas, Jack washes up on the shores of Lillyput and makes an unexpected friendship with Captain Little. As you can tell, she is very little!
Captain Little promises to make a flying machine to help Jack get his dad back. When Jack finds his dad, he saves him and flies home. They encounter problems on their voyage home but they overcome their problems and arrive home safely together.

My First Book of Irish Animals

Image result for my first book of irish animalsToday the children in the Junior and Middle rooms went to Trim Library for a talk with Juanita Browne about her book, My First Book of Irish Animals.  The children all LOVE this book and it was really exciting to meet the author. She spoke about the animals in her book, showed us some really cool antlers, played a guessing game with us and even showed us a real bat she found at home! It was a really interesting and interactive afternoon!
