Linking with our Greenschools program, the children from 5th and 6th visited the Rediscovery Centre in Ballymun. Alongside their peers from 3 other Trim primary schools, the children learned all about the circular economy, recycling and upcycling from their knowledgeable guides Lara and Jackie. They learned that waste can be used to heat a building, feed plants or can be repurposed for other uses. This trip was extremely interesting, educational and valuable and the children took a lot of knowledge and inspiration from their day here. We would like to sincerely thank Michael, Vicky and all of Trim Climate Action who arranged and funded this trip.♻️
