Growing Cress

The children in the middle room planted cress, documenting the process and how it grew and changed over time. The children really enjoyed taking care of the cress and seeing how much it grew.

Middle Room Nature Walk

The middle room took advantage of our great location and the good weather and went for a nature walk down by the Boyne.  They kept a look out for all of the things on their nature checklists and got to check nearly all of the items off! Well done guys 💚

Planting salad seeds with Pauline

Pauline very generously organised and helped the children in the Junior Room plant salad seeds which they will bring home. They planted lettuce, beetroot and more! Pauline is so generous with her time and expertise, she is an inspiration to these budding young gardeners 💚

Book Week

The children celebrated Book Week by dressing up as a character from their favourite book!  See some of the fab outfits below.

Antonia kindly invited us to Antonias Bookstore, where she read a brilliant book for us and we got a new book each with our Book Week tokens 📚🩵

Many thanks to Antonia for inviting us annually, the children really enjoy this special visit 🥰

Friendship Week

What fun we had on Friendship Week.  We made friendship bracelets, decorated the windows, played co-operative games, had whole school PE led by senior room, decorated stones for our friendship garden and even made decorative patches for our friendship quilt led by the Student Council (pics of completed stone garden and quilt to follow).  We held an odd socks day to celebrate that we are all different and unique. These are only some of the activities we enjoyed. We all loved stopping to appreciate each other, having fun with our friends, and making some new ones too ❣️
